Part 141 - Private Pilot Overview

A Part-141 flight education abides by a much stricter set of federal aviation regulations (FARs) governing FAA Approved Flight Schools.  This type of education can indicate a superior training environment.

  • 35 hours minimum flight training
  • Ground training including:

    • Principles of Aerodynamics and aircraft powerplants
    • Aeronautical Charts
    • Radio Communications
    • Weather
    • Aeronautical decision making
    • FAA Regulations

    • Collision avoidance

Part 141 - Professional Pilot Overview

This is an all inclusive, intensive program designed for pilots who wish to achieve a professional pilot standard. The course fees are estimated based on FAA minimum requirements and Jeppesen training curriculum. However, the actual hours may be higher. So additional costs may be incurred.

Prerequisites
  • FAA Second Class medical certificate
  • 18 years of age or older (at completion of program)

Terms are payment in full (cash/check/charge card) upon completion of each lesson. Prepaid accounts of $500.00 (cash or check only) receive a 5% discount.
