Part-141 Training Matrix

The training matrices shown below have been taken from the Jeppesen/Sanderson Private, Instrument, Commercial and CFI syllabuses as approved by the FAA.  These matrices/tables show the minimum ground and flight hours necessary for each Part-141 approved course at Ahart Aviation. 

Because of copyright laws, we cannot publish the Jeppesen matrix here on our web site.  However, you can purchase a copy from Ahart Aviation directly, or, you can find it at other aviation retailers both in town and on the internet.

Notes

• These matrices are for reference only.  To get the most up-to-date training outline, please contact your instructor at Ahart Aviation services.

• Ahart Aviation Services does not have the ability to change these times as they have been approved by the FAA as minimum times and may not reflect the actual time it takes you to master these skills. 

• These are Part-141 times only and do not reflect any other course including Part-61.

Private Pilot

Note:  These Matrix's only show Part-141 requirements.  I-20 international students must enroll in at least the Part-141 ground training and flight training can be done as Part-61 (preferred) or Part-141

Instrument Rating

Commercial Pilot

Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI)

Note: Both Ground and Flight training are required for CFI Part-141 students

Multi-Engine Instructor

Note: Both Ground and Flight training are required for MEI Part-141 students
