About the new Ahart Web Site
Feedback
Feedback on the new web site has been great! I also love
getting suggestions from our customers. To date, here are the
changes made to the web site since its original release (March 6th,
2006)
Completed
- Documents and policies has been moved to it's own menu item
- Flight planning is now part of the Links menu
- A new Links index is now available. Go to the Links
menu and select Index.
- AIRNAV has been added to our Navigational Links menu
- When logging onto Schedule-point - a new window is no longer
opened (easier to use)
- A couple of new planes have been added to the advanced
avionics web site
- An All-Aircraft link has been added to see all aircraft on
one page
- Menu items that have no 'sub-menus' are links themselves
(easier to use)
- The Ahart graphical banner has been made smaller so it
doesn't take up so much web page 'real estate'
- Student work sheets (solo and cross country) will be on the
site soon under Policies/documents
In the works
New Features
Here are some of the new features we are thinking about adding to
the Ahart Web site
- A Live web camera that will show the sky over Livermore
Airport - this will allow pilots to see the skys before coming
into Ahart. A test camera is setup at my home in Tracy
California. Click
here to see.
Technology
The new Ahart web site was created using
- Microsoft Front Page 2003
- Dynamic Web Templates
- Cascading Style Sheets
- Java Script
- Adobe Photoshop CS2
- LinkSys
Wireless-G Internet Web Camera (in-the-works feature)
