Message from the Owner

Wow!  May was a great month for flying.  Ahart had groups of pilots from Germany and Austria come and fly our most popular planes:  N21483 (Cessna 172SP) and N51732/N21524 (Cessna 182T's).  They flew all across the south west of our beautiful country and came back extremely excited and happy.

Our international students also took advantage of the great weather with many graduates and initial solo'd students - always a great accomplishment.

June promises to be another great month for flying.  On a little bit of a negative note, fuel prices are increasing which may force Ahart to start fuel surcharges again.    Instead of increasing the price of our aircraft when fuel prices start climbing, Ahart adds a fuel surcharge based on the aircrafts average fuel consumption.  As of June 1st, 2009, no fuel surcharges have been added, but with oil passing the $70.00 mark, it may happen this month.  Stay tuned to the Ahart web site for news on fuel prices.
